Yogyakarta day #3

[Electricity just went out. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!]

I lost half of my story. Hav to start over again :(

3rd day.
Pyor came to our inn while I was took a bath and Carla still slept.
We had to return the motor first, then we're going to check whether a room left for 3 of us at Monica.
Yes they have it. So after checked out from Bladok, we moved there.
Room 208. It's bigger and the lamp was brighter that before.
I think it's better than Bladok, since there's bigger bed, bathroom, and it had proper toilet mirror.

Pyor was eager to visit Keraton, instead of Carla, who wasn't in the mood.
Besides, she's not feeling well.
She asked how long we would go.
Pyor said 2 hours, maybe.
Carla decided to get some sleep first, then I'm not clear how's our next plan.
Here we were....walked to Kraton. I enjoy our time.
Everything was fine till it started to rain again!
Weleh...when it's got havier, we run to find a shelter.
It's rain everyday. Huh.

I had some chit chatz w/ a man. who I knew later was a tourist bus driver.
I asked direction to Ganjuran.
The rain has stopped, we continued our trip.
While we were walking, tukang-tukang becak offered to took us to Keraton with Rp 3000. Some of them said that it has already closed, but they could took us around.
Sorry guys, you offered wrong person.
We stopped by at Museum Kereta.
It showed keraton's chariots.
Lil' bit spooky there. I can't tell.
The atmosphere was just....u know.

From there, the guide squired us to saw batik tulis and batik lukis worshop.
Hmm...interesting, since I learnt batik when I was in grade school. The batik were so beautiful and colorful.

Pyor said how if we directly went to KotaGede. She said it's ok if Carla didn't join us, since Carla said it's fine whether she went to KG or not.
Ok then. How to go there? I dunno.
Here are some tips when u travelling by urself.
Ask. ask and ask.
How do you get to your destination?
Simple. On foot, bus, becak, andong, or any transpor that still make sense.
Shortly, we went there by bus, line 2.

Pyor wanna bought a silver ring.
In and out stores. Walked. Took some pics. Visit workshops.
Despite at first she wanna bought a ring, what did she buy?2 rings!
Whereas she said before that it's over her budget if she buy a ring for 50000 (but the design was more elegant).
Whatever....(*sigh)
There're some old buildings in KotaGede.
We went back to city by andong. Rp 3000 each.
It stopped near Malioboro, so we walked back to hotel.

Carla hasn't ate yet. She waited for us, and complaint why we didn't tell her.
Altough she couldn't join us, at least she wasn't wondering where we were....hehehe.
Sorry la. It's difficult to tell you. There's no access for it.

We had dinner at Malioboro. Lesehan. We ordered pecel lele and hot tea.How much it cost?Guess.
9900, and 10% tax...ladies and gentlemen.
Tax!Sucks.
Just knew a lesehan charged 10% tax for the meals.
