Yogyakarta, day #4

4th day.
Our last day for have fun.
We would go to Ganjuran first.
Carla stoped by circle K to buy some stuffs.
I remind Pyor to buy herself a toothbrush, since she hasn't brush her teeth for 3 days hahahahaha....She left her toothbrush at Sarangan.

I heard there's a church, which has a temple with Jesus statue inside of it.
What makes it special is, it inculturates with Hindu style.
The church itself was named Sacred Heart of Lord Jesus (Gereja Hati Kudus Tuhan Yesus).
Well, it's not like what I imagine.
Pyor and Carla themselves seemed to be not too interested.
Then I inspired to took Jesus' pict.
As it crossed my mind, my heart beat faster, and when I sat there, praying, I couldn't say anything for couple minutes.
But at last, I asked 'permission' for some shots in the end.
I made it, and I've got the pics that my friends didn't have.

From there we were back to city and headed to Kaliurang.
We made a mistake that delayed our trip by hopped out from the bus that should be carry us to terminal. We asked to policemen how to get there. One of them was 'reseh'.
We spent half of our day at the bus.
It took 1.5 hours from terminal to Kaliurang. Rain poured again. We didn't know where we had to stop.
Telogo Putri was the end of bus track, and it turned around to back to city. We hopped out from the bus. Prepared ourselves to explore.
The bad news was, they called us, and told that this was the last bus.
What??? After so long long journey...just for nothing but few shots???
Couldn't believe that. While mumbling, we were back to the bus.

We had dinner at FM Caffee near our inn.
It's our last night in Yogya, and we want to pleasure ourselves with delicious meals.

Along those 4 days trip, we know each others better.
The habits, the weakness, how our companions react to some problems, and the conflict.
Carla - the independent woman, with her slovenliness, tried to face her past and I hope she can move on. What I dislike from her habit was, she is disorganize person. Her stuffs was everywhere. And she often put her money on bed, Euuhh....ill feel deh.
But she complaint when I used sandals inside our room.
I didn't trust that the floor was clean, and didn't like to feel dirt and grit under my feet.

(Sada)Pyor - ga taunya rada jorok juga dia...hehehe...
Males sikat gigi, it's been 3 days n she didn't brush her teeth, and actually she's going to do that until we went home. She's so lucky has us as her friend, who insist her to save our life :P
We often teased and blame her for everything. Poor Pyor, but her suffering was our happiness...hahaha...Thx Pyor!
She has talent as scary ghost. One of 'penampakan' at the office. *grin*

We've made mistakes, we learnt to compromise, and not to be selfish.
Encourage ourselves to be more brave.
Got the lessons.

Intermezzo: Not [so] bad day

Today is bad enough for me.
This morning I saw telkomsel billing on my desk.
I was shock. They charge me for international roaming. Whaaattt????There's a mistake, and I hav to ask for a print out to check my bill. Ngrepoti soro!

I wrote my journey in my blog. Suddenly my monitor was blank. Black.Electricity went out. Perfect. I had to re-write again.

After lunch Pyor called me.
She found Tamasya magazine.
*Great*
Where was it when we need it?
Actually, we already done most of what they suggest for tourists. Except for kasongan (though we pass through the entrance), agro salak pondoh, kaliurang and too bad I didn't hav opportunity to visit keraton (inside), since it's already closed.
I just read that there're no access for public transportation to agro salak pondoh (even we saw its sign when we went to kaliurang).
Next time maybe.

In the evening, I begin to starving.
When I go home, and peek foods on the table...Ohlalaaaaaaa.....CRAB!
[*hurrayyyy*] ^o^
and chicken england sauge (is that right??)-ayam saos inggris..with many large yellow onion. Yippy!!!
Motivate me to try cook my own crab [someday].

kepiting asam pedas

liqueur

Luscy, Andre's wive is a good chef...hehehe.
Andre is my friend from Malang.
They've already stayed at my house for several days, and they're going to move to Palangkaraya. Their house in Malang has been rented, and they move their lots of stuffs to my house.
Well, we need that too, such as cabinet, or cupboard.

Anyway, when almost midnight fall, we held a little party.
Luscy make mocktail.
She mix the liqueur that she carry from Malang.
She share her secret recipe with us...hehehe...
We drink 4 kinds of blended, and I start to feel awkward on 3rd glass.
The best part is: she left that 3 kinds of liqueurs for us...huahahaha...
So guys, let's try it at my house.
Free of charge on ur first drink [red: glass]...hehehehe

Yogyakarta day #3

[Electricity just went out. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!]

I lost half of my story. Hav to start over again :(

3rd day.
Pyor came to our inn while I was took a bath and Carla still slept.
We had to return the motor first, then we're going to check whether a room left for 3 of us at Monica.
Yes they have it. So after checked out from Bladok, we moved there.
Room 208. It's bigger and the lamp was brighter that before.
I think it's better than Bladok, since there's bigger bed, bathroom, and it had proper toilet mirror.

Pyor was eager to visit Keraton, instead of Carla, who wasn't in the mood.
Besides, she's not feeling well.
She asked how long we would go.
Pyor said 2 hours, maybe.
Carla decided to get some sleep first, then I'm not clear how's our next plan.
Here we were....walked to Kraton. I enjoy our time.
Everything was fine till it started to rain again!
Weleh...when it's got havier, we run to find a shelter.
It's rain everyday. Huh.

I had some chit chatz w/ a man. who I knew later was a tourist bus driver.
I asked direction to Ganjuran.
The rain has stopped, we continued our trip.
While we were walking, tukang-tukang becak offered to took us to Keraton with Rp 3000. Some of them said that it has already closed, but they could took us around.
Sorry guys, you offered wrong person.
We stopped by at Museum Kereta.
It showed keraton's chariots.
Lil' bit spooky there. I can't tell.
The atmosphere was just....u know.

From there, the guide squired us to saw batik tulis and batik lukis worshop.
Hmm...interesting, since I learnt batik when I was in grade school. The batik were so beautiful and colorful.

Pyor said how if we directly went to KotaGede. She said it's ok if Carla didn't join us, since Carla said it's fine whether she went to KG or not.
Ok then. How to go there? I dunno.
Here are some tips when u travelling by urself.
Ask. ask and ask.
How do you get to your destination?
Simple. On foot, bus, becak, andong, or any transpor that still make sense.
Shortly, we went there by bus, line 2.

Pyor wanna bought a silver ring.
In and out stores. Walked. Took some pics. Visit workshops.
Despite at first she wanna bought a ring, what did she buy?2 rings!
Whereas she said before that it's over her budget if she buy a ring for 50000 (but the design was more elegant).
Whatever....(*sigh)
There're some old buildings in KotaGede.
We went back to city by andong. Rp 3000 each.
It stopped near Malioboro, so we walked back to hotel.

Carla hasn't ate yet. She waited for us, and complaint why we didn't tell her.
Altough she couldn't join us, at least she wasn't wondering where we were....hehehe.
Sorry la. It's difficult to tell you. There's no access for it.

We had dinner at Malioboro. Lesehan. We ordered pecel lele and hot tea.How much it cost?Guess.
9900, and 10% tax...ladies and gentlemen.
Tax!Sucks.
Just knew a lesehan charged 10% tax for the meals.

Yogyakarta, day #2

Crews: me n Carla.

2nd day. We rent a motor at Mrs. Hendrik's rental in front of Bladok. Rp 40000/day, after bargaining. First destination was Ganjuran, in Bantul regency. South Yogya. We had plan to buy a map. I told Carla to buy one at Gramedia, but she refused coz usually the parking is crowded. So we looked for another store that sold it.But after waste our time and still didn't get the map, finally we bought it at Gramedia..hehehe...

Carla n me continued our journey. With a map. It's hard to open it while u were rode a motor.Instead of follow the direction from the guys at Gramedia, we can't find the right path to Bantul. Carla saw signpost to Prambanan, and she offered how if we change our plan today to Prambanan. Well, it's fine with me As a blink, Ganjuran was forgotten, and we headed to Prambanan. She was hope to see sunset from there.
I dunno how many photos was taken there. Hundreds maybe :PFlowers, beetles, temples, and many things. It was cloudy. Everything was ok till raindrops falling on my head. Ppl were running away, tried to find a shelter. Some guys used this moment to lease an umbrella. 2000. We waited under a tree, but we didn't saw any sign that the rain will be lighter. Instead, we walked carefully from temple to temple.
Prambanan has 3 main temples. Brahma (left), Siwa (center), and Wisnu (right). In front of each temple, there's another temple which was the temple of their ride. There're 2 temples at their left and right side. They called Apit temples. At last, the rain stopped. Pyor had called me. She will be joined us in the evening. Cathed up by train from Madiun. She would arrive at 8. Ok. Carla would pick her up.

From Prambanan we visited Kraton Ratu Boko (the meaning of Ratu is Raja, and Boko is a heron. Dunno who he was, and why it called like that). The way we decide it was the same as before. Spontaneous. It's already dark (bcoz of it's cloudy). I was worry that it would be rain, and no one would be lease an umbrella this time. I was remind Carla to a lil' bit hurry, and didn't need to took so much pics. Contrary with Prambanan, this place was so quiet, mysterious, and I can't tell more...spooky??.Just some visitors, include us.We almost finished our exploring, when it began to drizzly. Hurry..hurry...I quicken my steps. Lala's knee was cramp. But we can't wait longer, or we would be very late for picked up Pyor. Worst case scenario: trapped in heavy rain. Hei..it came true!!It's rainy heavily, we had to stopped at a resto. I spent 11000 just for gudeg (not complete one) with hot tea! Damn!Continued our way back to hotel, we got chilled coz our jackets were wet. And raindrops hit our faces like needle.
*tusuk jarum gratis*Poor Carla. We played our role as the blind and the others (makza's game), since Carla couldn't see signstops anymore, and I had to assist her with the direction.

Finally we arrived at the inn.
We waited for Pyor's arrival, but she didn't show up or SMS me where she was.
We were dizzy and tired.
Dunno what time it was when she arrived.
I accompany her to find a hotel.
Carla n me promised Pyor to visit her at 8.
We're going to join her, move to Monica Inn.
Actually, I prepared to get some rest, but Carla couldn't sleep and shared her sweet memories in Yogya. Interesting. We slept at 3.
ZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzZZZzzz.......

*janji tinggal janji*

Yogyakarta, day #1

[Yogya, Queen Internett. 21.30]

8.30 Carla n me left my house, rushed to Bungurasih by cap.
Around 9 we arrived there, waited for our patas bus, Eka, destination was Yogyakarta.
Waited like forever, moved from one spot to others, to found the right place.
Muka lecek. BT.
After a century, a man suggest that we should wait it at its line, a few metre from where we were.
Ok. 2 guys (that I knew latter as cap divers) asked me where we wanna go.
I answer, and asked them back where Eka garage is (since we heard some guys shouted it).
During that, suddenly our 'beloved' bus arrived.
Finally!
First I didn't realize that, till that 2 guys told me to hurry cathced 4 it.
I saw Carla, she rushed to the bus, and I saw people run toward it.
Wek...I should hurry up.
Quicken my run.
Luckily lala in the first line.
Ppl behind us pushed each other, and automatically pushed us as well.
Lala got our seats. 3 raws from front.
Great job!

[*menggos2*]

We had lunch in Ngawi.
I ordered Gado-gado (or let's say....krupuk+cambah uakeeeehh).
It's just like snack for me. Anyway, it need alomost 8 hours to go to Yogya.
We arrived near Yogya city around 18.30, mre less.
The bus stopped at gas station. A man hopped into the bus, and offered his service.
He offered to drop us (and anyone who want to join him) to our place.
Only 8000.
Man, we're so lucky!
Thx God. He knows what we need.
Shortly, we stayed at Bladok Inn. 60000/day for 2 ppl.
Carla always stays there when she had vacation in Yogya.
It has a swimming pool.
All rooms was full, unless room 2.
So...here we are.
The room is small, but clean.
Our bath room has no hanger.

PS: Carla had little accident at our room.
Kejeduk lampu kamar + kesandung sepatuku
Dah hobby.

It's 22.13 now.
Over n out

Vacation

Borneo trip has been canceled!
The tickets were too expensive.
It's high season. Imlek choi!
But from what I heard a warning that along this week we have to be more caution for storm, bad weather.

Neither Carla n me still dunno where we want to go.
Destination: no where!
This evening she suggest that we go to airport/station to look at the schedule, decide where we gonna go at that time.
Or to Yogya.
Huh???
Yogya is one of town that get the warning.
Sultan even told the ppl to held a 'syukuran'...buat semacam ciswak gitulah.
Btw, I never going anywhere like that, but... second thought, sound interesting.
It's not my way, actually...but maybe I should try it.
We'll discuss it again tomorrow, since Wed is holiday and the office will be closed, it will more complicated to setup everything.

We'll see.

PS: Today there are 2 new things at my house.
New LG washer, replace the old one, which was oredy broke! and new GE portable phone from Cinta.
Yippieee....
We don't have to spend half day again to wash our clothes ^o^

Broken

Yesterday I got shocking news.
My friend was broken hearted...again.
She found out that her boy friend is a gambler, and just lost about 60 million. Wow!
At first, she began to suspicious when her bf didn't want answer her calls, but if somebody else calls, he'll pick up the phone. She even tried to reach him using his friend's name.
After a week played cat n mouse, she successfully insisted him to tell her what happen. Then, she has to face the bitter truth.

I'm so sorry for her.
Just like being dropped from heaven n hit the ground.
And I know, when she serious and meant something, she will totally dedicate her effort to pursue it.
Lots of men are jerk, and I think her bf is a looser, and lost greater than just 60 millions for losing her.

Last night, Edwin n me asked her and Carlos to join us for taize.
We thought that she must b need her friends right now.
They gave her advice, and convinced her that sooner or later she must dump that man out of her life. Gambling is such a desease that hard to cure. I can imagine her life if she merried w/ him. Miserable.

After drop her at her house, Carlos told me that her parents are separate, haven't divorce, yet.
Gosh...she has hard life too.
I don't know bout that. I know that her dad earn money in Jakarta, but I didn't assume this situation. She always cheers up, fashionable and doesnt give us any hints how her life is from outside.
Now, she is unstable and messed up. She is confuse how to go work, since usually her bf pick her up. Maybe can help her by give some info bout it. Hhh...it's time to face the cruel world

Guys, we can't know someone just from their look, or religion, or their faith. Dig deeper.
